New York, NY – SunnySpot Productions in association with Second Life Productions and Badlands Theatre Co.  will present a Scott Brooks hilarious comic thriller BAG FULLA MONEY, directed by Sam Viverito. It will play  at Theatre Row’s Clurman Theatre (410 W 42) beginning Wednesday, January 11, opening  Monday, January 16 at  8PM and will run through January 29, 2006.

A new comic caper about everyone’s fantasy- finding free money – and lots of it! It’s SNATCH meets NOISES OFF. A bag of stolen cash is left shamelessly unattended in the kitchen of a fancy four star hotel. BAG FULLA MONEY is a fast and furious four-letter-word farce that flies with machine gun dialogue that crackles with wit, grit and hysterics.  It tells the tale of the chef, his girl and six others in an effort to out wit, out con and out last each other and make off with a million bucks.

Cast includes: Diana De La Cruz, Amber Dow, Heather Dilly (Walk Two Moons), Jon Ecklund,  Richard Mazda (Batman Begins, Love Actually), Stu Richel (Wind on the Water), Darius Stone (HBO’s “Real Joke”),  Christopher Wisner and David White (Full Monty).

Scott Brooks (playwright) is the author of several stage and screenplays. He recently finished directing his first feature film Like A Springsteen Song, which he also adapted from the stage play.  He recently co-produced Charles Messina's THE GREAT DIVIDE and is the founder of Badlands Theatre Company, which has produced such acclaimed productions as Rockaway Boulevard and Bad SeedSam Viverito (director) directed and choreographed a star studded production of King & I and Disney's Hunchback of Notredame, in Seoul, Korea.  A few of his other shows includes record breaking tours of A Chorus Line, 42nd Street, La Cage Aux Folles, Evita, Brighton Cares (Dome Theater in Brighton, England), Funny Girl, Pirates of Penzance. As well as productions at American Musicals of San Jose, Walnut Street Theater), Artpark, Seattle Rep,  and the award winning Sweet Charity at Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera.   He also choreographed the Off-Broadway show Cut the Ribbon with Donna McKechnie.
